Come join us to understand ways to deal with feelings of shame and ideas about how to be compassionate with your children and yourself. The ideas and techniques presented in this workshop will help you to approach raising your children with positivity, even when facing difficult issues. If you enjoy learning through doing, you will gain practical skills to use with both your children and yourself. This workshop promises to leave you with a better understanding of healthy ways to approach the difficult work of raising foster, adopted, kin, and birth children. This training will utilize exercises and small and large group discussions. Annie Lange, BSN, LMSW, ACSW has served as a clinical faculty member for the MSU School of Social Work.
