Prospective Adoptive/Foster Parents will need to attend the four sessions (5,7,8 and 9) to meet the State's Orientation and Training requirements (12 hours).
We ask that all prospective Adoptive Parents contact the person responsible for the session to reserve a slot and confirm attendance three days in advance to the scheduled session - space is limited.
In two parent households both individuals must attend the workshops.
Due to our inability to provide proper supervision during the sessions, we regret to ask that you not bring children to the workshops.

JACKSON - Foster/Adopt PRIDE Training Session 9 |
| Description: |
You must complete Orientation and file and Application before attending PRIDE Training.
PRIDE 1 & 2 must be completed first. It is recommended that the other sessions be completed in order but it is not required. Check with your licensing or adoption worker.
At least 12 hours of PRIDE training must be completed by each applicant prior to any foster children being placed into the home and by the end of the 6 month provisional license. The 3 hours of orientation may be counted toward this requirement.
All PRIDE training must be completed by the end of the first year after the initial provisional licensing period.
In a two parent caregiver home, both caregivers must complete all of the PRIDE training sessions.
Deadline for registration is at least 7 days prior to the session.
