Carlos is a sweet and pleasant young man who can usually be found with a smile on his face. He likes to make sure that others are happy, and is the type of child who can light up a room. Carlos loves spending time outdoors playing baseball,"fixing things," and riding dirt bikes. Airika is a friendly young lady with a great sense of humor. She is loyal to those with whom she feels close, especially her brothers. Airika enjoys reading and going swimming.

The adoption worker reports no significant behavioral concerns for Carlos and Airika. Carlos does well in school, and benefits from the extra assistance that he receives in the classroom. His teacher reports that he is a delight to have in the class.

Carlos and Airika have experienced a lot of disruption and loss, and long for the stability of a permanent family. A family who can provide these siblings with unconditional love and commitment, and provide them with a sense of belonging would be optimal. They would also benefit from on-going therapeutic services, and contact with some family members. Most of all, these siblings need a family who will accept them for who they are, allow them to make mistakes, and challenge them to do their best!
