Training objectives: As a result of this training, participants will be prepared to: • Describe developmental issues for teens and young adults. • Identify ways to help youth develop supportive relationships. • Identify two post-secondary benefts and programs available for youth.
Description: This training will feature information about understanding the needs of older teens who have experienced foster care and how caregivers can assist youth in transitioning to adulthood, including post-secondary benefts and programs. This training will utilize exercises, small and large group discussions, and visual displays.
