Event date: 9/21/2013 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM Export event

The Tri-County Kinship Coalition and Wayne County Community College's Office of Continuing Education cordially invite you to attend the 24th Annual Kinship Adoption Festival!

The Kinship Adoption Festival is a public event designed to increase awareness of children in the foster care system waiting to be adopted.  Waiting children and families who are interested in adoption come together for a day fill of fun, including:
  • Workshops for prospective adoptive families
  • children's activities
  • food and entertainment
  • adoption agency information booths
  • Appearances by Paws of the Detroit Tigers, S.W.A.T. team and more!

Lunch will be provided to all in attendance.  This event is free to the public and is a great way to learn more about adoption and speak with various agency professionals.  All waiting youth will be wearing an orange lanyard.  Registration is NOT required for the general public.

FOR ADOPTION PROFESSIONALS:

Please register all waiting youth on your caseload to attend the Festival here.  All waiting youth will be provided with a name tag and orange lanyard at time of check in.  Please ensure they wear the lanyard for the duration of the festival.

If you have any questions, please contact MARE Recruitment Specialist Ann Riggs.  She can be reached via email at ann_riggs@judsoncenter.org or phone at (734) 528-2070.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
